Description/History:This dress was worn by Mary Sellars Brightwell when she attended high school in Richland, MO in Pulaski County. She was approximately 17 years old at the time. It is off white and is made of a light-weight silky-like fabric. It has a round neckline which is decorated with a ruffle made of the same fabric as the rest of the dress. The sleeves are short and slightly puffed with elastic at the ends. The bodice has darts. There is a flouce at the waistline. The skirt of the dress is A-line.
